Pinterest is the place where many brides-to-be search for inspiration. So, when Alyssa Snodsmith saw a cute couple photo, she wanted to recreate it with her fiancé during their engagement shoot. However, it didn’t really go as planned. Their efforts were totally messed up, but photographer Chandler Lefever was quick enough to capture the hilarious fail. The resulting photos quickly went viral, and they gave all of us at DIYP a good giggle.
Alyssa saw a photo of a man pouring champagne into his girlfriend’s mouth. She and her fiancé Collin Hewett tried to make a similar photo, but alas – Collin got a bit carried away. He poured the champagne too fast, and they got photos that are pretty far from what they had in mind.
Collin tweeted about their little mishap, and it quickly went viral from there.
“So me and Alyssa took our engagements pictures yesterday. She found a Pinterest picture that she wanted to try and recreate,” Collin writes and adds: “I botched it.” However, if you look closer, it seems like the guy in the original photo is not really pouring champagne into the woman’s mouth. One user noticed it and wrote: “The original photo is actually him pouring it behind her and directly on her hair, so I think you basically nailed it.” I agree. I actually think this is better than the original photo, and it seems many Twitter users agree. If nothing else, it’s certainly a lot funnier and more spontaneous, and I really like that.
