Røde Microphones has just announced the new Wireless GO, the world’s smallest digital wireless microphone/receiver combination. It’s a tiny and lightweight system which will make life easier for various types of content creators, from journalists to vloggers.

The dimensions of the transmitter and the receiver are around 1.7 x 1.7 x 0.7 inches, and both weigh only 1 ounce. The transmitter acts as either a quick and easy clip-on wireless microphone, or as a belt-pack transmitter for a lavalier microphone via the 3.5mm TRS input.

The small dimensions and the small weight of the receiver make your life easier when it comes to mounting it on a rig. It comes with a dual-purpose mount which can sit in your camera’s shoe mount, or you can clip it onto your camera strap, belt or clothes. Røde Wireless GO’s 3.5mm TRS output cable plugs into your camera’s audio input. Alternatively, you can use relevant adaptors to plug it into your recorder, GoPro, iPhone and the like. There is also a three-stage output pad – 0dB, -6dB, -12dB.

Take a look at detailed specs: The Røde Wireless GO will be presented at NAB in Las Vegas, from 8 April to 11 April current year. And if you wanna preorder it, you can do it here for $199.
