Photographer Keow Wee Loong has been travelling for a month to find the perfect location for his very special proposal. Ultimately he found the Duge Bridge, standing 564 metres above the Beipan River. Bridging the borders of Yunnan and Guizhou, it is not yet open to the public. Keow only plans to make a marriage proposal once, so he decided to “make this epic”. While perhaps a little dangerous and reckless (there’s no word on whether he actually had permission or not), one has to admire his spirit and dedication.

We all want to impress when we propose, but even I think this might be taking things a little too far. There was an in-person proposal, too, however. Martha Sibielak, the bride to be, said yes. How could she not?

Congrats, guys! What do you think? Impressed? Annoyed you didn’t think of it first? Or a little beyond the pale and irresponsible? How far did you go to make your proposal? Or is yours still in the planning stages? Let us know in the comments. [via Facebook]
