Advertisements MARS Petcare and Blue Cross are now a part of Comedy Pet Photo Awards. Together, they want to make a difference to the welfare of pets in the UK. One of the goals of this contest is to spread the awareness of how much pets mean to owners, how much joy they can bring and how much better they make us feel, especially during difficult times.
If you have a pet – well, you can join the cause through this photo contest. There’s a £5 entry fee, and 10% of it goes directly to the Blue Cross. Also, keep in mind that the contest isn’t only for the UK citizens, it’s global. “You can enter from anywhere on the planet, or off the planet if you are an astronaut…or alien,” the team behind the contest jokingly says. You can submit your photos until 31 August 2020 for one of the following seven categories: The judges will select the top 40 entries when the competition closes, and the finalists will be announced on 28 September. The overall winner will be announced on 19 November, and he or she will be awarded £3,000. So, get that camera and start snapping away.
