This is a story about their decisions and its beauties and challenges. It’s certainly an unusual lifestyle that takes a lot of bravery. In this nine-minute video, you’ll hear their story and see some of their great photos – and minutes will feel like seconds.
At one point, Elia and Naomi they traveled so much that the thought was inevitable – what if we didn’t live anywhere? They started thinking of simply traveling full-time. And they made the decision. They became full-time travelers. This lifestyle provides some great opportunities for them. However, it has plenty of challenges as well . It requires eating and sleeping wherever and lots of planning and logistics. Sometimes even the simplest things are too complicated… Their possessions are also very limited. They have to travel during all seasons. And in a way, they are isolated from family and friends.
So, if it’s no bed of roses, how did they decide to take this step? Well, they realized having money and possessions simply didn’t make them happy. They thought about what they really wanted to do. And they decided to put a focus on what they do instead of what they have. And this is when it all changed.
For Elia, Tuscany, Italy is the place of biggest inspiration. This is where everything changed for him and his photographic creativity started to really blossom. He wants to capture and share with the world the emotion he feels when seeing and photographing all the places he visits.
When he and Naomi started traveling, their perspective changed. They believe that you need to push away the things you think you need, for the things you really need, so that you can be open to opportunities life puts before you. In the end, they never regret doing something – they only regret the chances they didn’t take. I find their story very inspiring, and their photos truly wonderful. I feel like packing my bags now and seeking an adventure. However, I’m not sure I’d make it without having in mind that I have a single place to call home. What about you?
