Capture One 21 has been officially launched today, bringing with it some workflow speed improvements and some much anticipated new features and enhancements. For a start, Capture One finally has a Dehaze tool. It also now supports HEIC files from Apple devices, as well as ProStandard camera profiles to help create more true-to-life colour. When it comes to workflow, a new Speed Edit function lets you make rapid edits to either a single image or to multiple images simultaneously for batch editing. Optimised and more efficient asset management lets you more quickly sift through your files, and an improved importer speeds up bringing those files into Capture One in the first place.
As well as performance and workflow enhancements, Capture One 20 receives new tooltips to provide more information as well as a dedicated “Learn” section filled with tutorials to help you more easily get to grips with the software and its features. Capture One 21 is available to buy now, with a perpetual license for $299, upgrade license for $159 or monthly subscriptions starting at $20/mo for the full thing. Capture One 21 versions for Nikon, Sony and Fuji are each priced at $129, $109 and $9.99/mo for perpetual, upgrade and subscription licenses respectively.
