Canon has apparently added a new RF 14-35mm f/4L IS USM lens (4857C005) and EW-83P lens hood (4859C001) to its latest product list. The lens had been previously rumoured to be on the way, although the tweet from Nokishita now suggests that an announcement is imminent. Nokishita also says that two other lenses with the codes 5050C005 and 5051C005 have been registered with overseas certification bodies, bringing the total of unreleased lenses to three. There doesn’t appear to be any news yet on what those lenses may be yet.

The tweet doesn’t provide any information about the lens other than the focal length and maximum aperture. The latest tweet also doesn’t specify that the second item is a hood for this lens, although Nokishita did clarify in another tweet last week. https://twitter.com/nokishita_c/status/1405076564627181578 There’s no information yet on what this lens might cost, however, it’ll essentially be a low budget version of the upcoming Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM and an updated RF version of the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM. This would put it somewhere between the $1,100 and $2,500 price range, but most likely on the lower end of that.
