Aerial, landscape, and abstract photography fall within my favorite genres. And when those three are brought together – boy, that’s a treat! If you like any of the three genres, Gábor Nagy is the photographer whose work you’ll love. He sees and captures the astonishing beauty of our world with his drone, and often gives his photos painterly quality that will leave you speechless. For this article, I’ve chosen his aerial landscapes that look like abstract paintings, and they’re truly a feast for the eyes.
Gábor is a landscape photographer and Sony Ambassador He was born and raised in Hungary and is currently based in its capital, Budapest. Since he absolutely loves mountains, Gábor goes hiking and climbing on a regular basis. Of course, he always brings a camera and a drone to these trips to capture the beautiful landscapes he sees around him. Interestingly enough, Hungary is pretty flat, with no high mountains. Still, Gábor fell in love with alpine landscapes from an early age and it’s a subject you’ll often see in his photos.
Since no high mountains are there to shoot in Hungary, Gábor’s photography and love for hiking often take him outside his country. The Dolomites, the Austrian, German, Slovenian Alps, and the High Tatras – you’ll see all of them in his stunning images. He also specializes in arctic regions like Iceland and Norway, and many of the photos you’ll find in this article were taken in these countries.
