ACD Systems has announced its new version of ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate 2023. As is the trend, it sees the addition of new AI-powered features, including AI Face Edit and AI Actions. It also offers a new Advanced Search feature with enhanced AND/OR logic capabilities as well as tighter integration with Microsoft OneDrive. A new simplified Photomerge feature allows for easy panoramic stitching, HDR and focus stacking.
The array of new and improved features is quite large and includes things such as improved .webp support, new develop presets, a lens correction update with over 100 new lenses added to the database, a camera raw update to be able to read files from the newest cameras as well as Media Mode improvements to more easily read and assign EXIF and IPTC metadata. The highlights, though, look a little something like this. The new AI Actions feature looks quite interesting, and a couple of samples on the ACDSee website are rather good. Like the AI-powered Selection and Sky Replacement tools found in other applications, it allows you to quickly and easily perform common tasks like blurring backgrounds to simulate shallow depth of field, removing backgrounds completely or as mentioned, sky replacements. For a full list of the new features head on over to the ACDSee website. ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate is available as part of the ACDSee Home Plan subscription for $8.90/mo (or $89/yr) or by purchasing a perpetual license for $149.99. Nice when companies give you the choice of which way you want to go, huh? If you’re not sure if you want to put down the cash yet, you can also download a free 30-day trial.
